Shopfront Trevallyn is situated in the lovely Trevallyn Shopping Village and is Trevallyn's only gift and homewares store. It is just a 5 minute drive from Launceston's CBD across the old bridge spanning the stunning Cataract Gorge.
In Shopfront you will find a diverse and eclectic mix of homewares, gift lines, jewellery, fashion accessories and collectibles. You can find out more about our range on our shop page.
Browsing through the store completes a great shopping experience sourcing gourmet food and wine in the neighbouring award winning Trevallyn Grocer, and having a catch up with friends over coffee, breakfast or lunch at the nearby cafe Lulu's At Trevallyn.
Laybys are welcome. Personalised gift vouchers are also available and we offer a complimentary gift wrapping service.

OUR LATEST NEWS…
What strange times we are living in, we hope everyone is well! Here at Shopfront we are adjusting to changes to ensure we can keep providing you all with beautiful homewares and gifts. We are currently open Tuesday-Saturday, and also available by messaging on Facebook & Instagram during the week or via phone. We have social distancing and cleaning measures in place in store. For those who wish to stay home, we are more than happy to take payment over the phone and arrange for shipping.
So, what are we up to in store? We have such a great range of at home activities, including crafts such as DIY lip balm kits, DIY feather crowns, fake snow kits, crystal creation kits, high-bounce ball creation kits to name a few. As well as game such as pick up sticks, dominoes, jigsaws, activity books, quiz packs, yo-yos, murder mysteries. We also have a collection of beautiful wooden old-school style games such as hoopla, noughts and crosses, dominoes and 10-pin bowling that are wonderful on display as well as to play.
We also have a variety of mirrors in store to suit all styles of home from timber to cane to antique looks. Mirrors are perfect for creating the illusion of a larger space in a room and brightening a room by reflecting extra light. To warm up your home for the cooler months we have many throws in different colour and texture the are perfect to pop over the arm of the couch to add an element of style and to pull over your legs when it’s a bit chilly.

Karli is our go to retail shop assistant. She has been with us for a few years now and loves working in the vibrant Trevallyn Shopping Village, meeting and chatting with locals and tourists alike! Karli loves to travel around our beautiful state of Tasmania and may be a bit biased but believes you cannot beat Tassie made products. She has a keen interest in style from clothing, jewellery and home design and enjoys helping people find pieces in store that suit them, and that they truly love. Karli runs our Instagram and Facebook page, so keep an eye out for her exciting posts.
Joanna spends most of her time at the Trevallyn Grocer merchandising, ordering, and greeting customers. But when they can spare her (not very often!!) she relishes the opportunity to create our wonderful window displays. Together with Karli she also enjoys integrating new products into themes according to season or colour. She has a love of collecting and sources many of our unique one off items from around Tasmania. For Joanna style is about rejuvenating tired rooms by changing soft furnishings whilst showcasing a much loved treasure.
Holly is our Saturday girl and also works for Jo in the Trevallyn Grocer. Holly has a strong work ethic having started at the grocer at only 15 years of age. She is currently completing year 12 studies while maintaining her part time roles in the two stores. Holly’s family are avid collectors and their love for the unique has certainly passed on to Holly who enjoys spending time at weekend markets in their travels around Tasmania. She enjoys her role at Shopfront helping people find that special something for friends and family, or finding that unique item that completes a room.
JO MCBAIN
STORE OWNER
Jo splits her time between Shopfront and her other store the Trevallyn Grocer in the same shopping village. She does most of the buying for Shopfront and is dedicated to stocking eclectic and unique pieces not readily available in other stores. Outside work Jo is a keen renovator and is onto her 7th project. What has she learnt from this? “Each house speaks to you in a different way, so each one requires a unique approach too its structure, appearance, textures and landscaping, Trends are useful guides for colour palettes and soft furnishings, but often a design needs to transcend current fads to make a project successful”
